This Samurai Helmet is replica of a popular Samurai warrior, Yukimura Sanada (1567-1615).

Yukimura Sanada was a Japanese samurai warrior of the Sengoku period. His historical counterpart is best known for his steadfast defense against the Tokugawa at Osaka. Because of his talent, Yukimura was called “A Hero who may appear once in a hundred years”, “Crimson Demon of War” and “The Last Sengoku Hero”.

The head ornament (crest) is the six coins, which is the family crest of Sanada. Dragon ornaments, a symbol of advancement and successful, are given at side skirts (called “Fukikaeshi”).
Another special feature of Sanada model helmet is its unique horns sprouted from both side of the helmet. Motif is deer horns as you can see, which is the symbol of valiantness.

On the wallpaper at backside of the helmet case, Dragon (a symbol of advancement and successful in the world) and Tiger (a symbol of bravery) are drawn.

The helmet is designed with base colors of red and gold. Red was a popular color among Samurai Warriors because it represents combative spirit. Notable red colored armor must summoned up Samurai’s combative spirit!
The helmet is in a durable hexagonal acrylic case. You can take is out from the case and display without it.
Bow and sword made of resin is included with this item.
This product is all handmade by Japanese artisans.
