$866.76

This Bento Box (Japanese lunch box) is made by authentic gold-inlaid lacquerware technique. Craftsman scratches its surface by a chisel, followed by inlaying gold into the scars. Design motif is dandelion fluff; because they fly off and put out buds in any environment, we put the meaning of “you will soar and bloom” into this design.

The box consists of two layers and the lid. Its outside is black with gold-decorated engravings, and inside is coated with red-colored lacquer. Its body is made of a type of earthen clay produced in Wajima and wood materials that function to keep warmth; and lacquer surface has antimicrobial activity. Therefore, the Wajima lacquerware bento box has the finest features to preserve foods for a while.
