Model of this beautiful statue is Kissho Ten, which is enshrined at Joruri-ji Temple in Kyoto. Decorated with gorgeous accessories, the statue had been hidden for a long time. Therefore, it has been preserved in excellent condition since 1213 A.D. when it was made. Craftsman replicated colors, shape and decorations of this beautiful statue completely. Every decorative items are handmade one by one.

Character of Kissho Ten
Kissho Ten is the goddess of fertility, fortune, luck and beauty. She is often expressed as a grande dame in 7th century. She has the Cintamani stone in her left hand, which is said to be able to make wishes come true. According to Buddhist myth, Kissho Ten is wife of Bishamonten, one of the Seven Gods of Fortune, and had five kids between them. Therefore, she is also worshiped for peace and prosperity in the household.
